Earl Grey Black Tea Pyramid Tea Bags

I found the flavour of this tea a bit strange at first but I've become accustomed to it. I still prefer my usual brand but this was an interesting change of pace. The pyramid shaped bags are cute. However, there is no mention of them being compostable or more eco friendly than usual tea bags. I would recommend giving this tea a try if you want to try something different.

This tea tasted like a pretty typical bagged erl grey tea. That's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you're looking for, but I didn't find that there was much about this tea that stood out to me.One thing that did strike me, though, is that it's just a tea bag with no mechanism to fish it out, so you need to use a spoon to help agitate it a bit and then pull it out once it's done steeping.Caffeine-wise, it's alright for an afternoon cup. It's not too much that you'll stay awake, but it's enough not to make you want to grab another cup of coffee.

I really liked this tea because it has more of a bergamot flavor compared to other black teas, where the black tea flavor is often too strong. Drinking it feels refreshing and it's quite aromatic. The amount in each bag is enough to make a delicious hot cup or a glass of iced tea. However, what I didn't like is that the tea bags don't have the classic string, so I have to use a spoon to remove them from my cup, glass, container, etc., which is inconvenient for me.

This is a high-quality and top class Ceylon tea. I really like the earthy aroma of the black tea mingling with the scent of Bergamot. The black tea is robust and full-bodied, providing a strong foundation for the citrusy and floral notes of the bergamot. The balance between the tea and bergamot flavours is just right, creating a nice harmonious blend. This tea is perfect as afternoon tea which I have tried with and without milk. The pyramid-shaped tea bags are practical as they allow the tea leaves to expand and infuse properly, resulting in a rich and flavourful cup of tea. Overall, I highly recommend these teabags to any tea lover who appreciates the distinctive taste of Earl Grey tea.

This Black Earl Grey tea from CI Tea is very uplifting and aromatic. Its pyramid structure allows for more contact with the flowers apposed to clumping in the bottom of the bag.
