Iced tea lemonade in a glass

Ingredients for an Iced Tea Lemonade

To make a pitcher :

  • 2 teabags of our Orange Pekoe tea
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbs sweetener of choice
  • 1 Lemon, sliced
  • 1 Lime, sliced
  • 3/4 cup of lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves

How to make an Iced Tea Lemonade

    1. Brew the tea - Bring 4 cups (about 1 l) of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Orange Pekoe tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes to ensure a robust flavor.
    2. Sweeten the tea - Add 2 tbs of sweetener of your choice to the brewed tea. Stir well to dissolve the sweetener. Feel free to adjust the amount of sweetener based on your taste preference. Set the sweetened tea aside to cool completely.
    3. Make the lemonade - In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, lime juice, sliced lemon, lime, and fresh mint leaves. Stir gently to release the flavors and allow them to infuse into the lemonade.
    4. Assemble the tea lemonade - Once the brewed tea has cooled completely, pour it into the pitcher with the lemonade mixture. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and ensure a uniform distribution of flavors.
    5. Chill and refrigerate - Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mixture to become chilled. This will enhance the refreshing taste of the tea lemonade.
    6. Serve with flair - When ready to serve, add ice cubes to the pitcher to keep the tea lemonade cool. Garnish with orange slices for an added touch of visual appeal. Pour the tea lemonade over ice in glasses and serve immediately.

Enjoy! Sip on this refreshing tea lemonade either beside the pool on a sunny day or as a pick-me-up while working behind your desk. Its invigorating flavors will help you relax and recharge.

Note: The recipe can be adjusted further by adding additional fruits to the lemonade, such as sliced strawberries or peaches, to add a burst of additional flavor. Feel free to experiment and customize the recipe to suit your personal taste preferences. Cheers to a longer and more refreshing tea lemonade experience!
