Bowl of frozen fruits on a table along with a glass of cold tea

Ingredients for a Cold-Brew Berry Tea

  • 4 pyramid teabags of Orange Pekoe tea
  • 1 liter of filtered water
  • 1/2 cup of a mix of your favorite frozen berries
  • 2-3 tablespoons of your favorite sweetener (we recommend using honey, agave syrup, or maple syrup)
  • Ice cubes

How to make a Cold-Brew Tea with Berries

      1. Prepare your tea - In a large pitcher (around 1.5 liters), place the 4 pyramid teabags. Pour cold filtered water into the pitcher, filling it up almost to the top and add the cup of frozen berries to the pitcher. Carefully stir the mixture to ensure the tea leaves are fully submerged and the berries are evenly distributed.
      2. Leave overnight - Cover the pitcher with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator overnight. This slow extraction process allows the flavors to meld together.
      3. The next day - remove the pitcher from the fridge and take out the teabags. In a separate bowl or cup, mix your preferred sweetener with a small amount of hot water, stirring until the sweetener dissolves. This step ensures that the sweetener mixes evenly with the cold brew tea. Pour the sweetened mixture into the pitcher, stirring gently to combine with the tea and berries.
      4. To serve - fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the cold brew tea over the ice, making sure to include some berries in each glass.
      5. Optionally - garnish with a few additional frozen berries to keep the drink cool and flavorful.
      6. Enjoy your refreshing and fruity cold brew tea with berries!

Note: Feel free to experiment with the types of tea and berries used in this recipe. For example, you could try using herbal tea blends or different combinations of frozen berries to create unique flavor profiles. Adjust the amount of sweetener based on your personal preference.
